The South Lot is closest to Legends Beachfront Resort. Bingin Beach is a very small community and because of the unique cliffside location, very few residents have private parking. The North Lot and the South Lot are the 2 public parking areas for beach access. The North Lot is near the Cashew Tree Restaurant, and the South Lot is close to Mu and Temple Lodge Resorts. The main steps to the beach are only a few minutes walk from here.

There is a small convenience store just past the South Side Bingin Parking Lot at the Inn Possible between Mu and Temple lodge, so if you come by Taxi or Driver, it’s best to get dropped off and unload at the convenience store. If you are waiting for your porter to come help with your luggage, it’s a very popular and easy place to wait. The entrance pathway above the cliffs is only a 30 second walk from here.
Please respect the local residents and resort guests and limit your noise while loading/unloading and being dropped off and walking to the beach from here. Everyone will appreciate your cooperation.

Be ready for an adventure – 180 Steps to Legends Beachfront – Breathtaking panoramic views.

Legends is located on the beach a short walk from the South Side Bingin Parking Lot (near Inn Possible, Mu and Temple Lodge Resorts). There are approximately 180 steps from the top of the picturesque cliffs to Legends Reception. If you are afraid of heights, don’t worry, the steps are made of stone and at no time will you be anywhere near an actual cliff.

Directions are easy – when you start descending the steps take your second left and go all the way to the beach. They wind slightly though a neighboring resort, but just follow the steps and signs. If you arrive at night, there are some lights along the path, but you might want to use the light on your phone to help guide you.

Porters are available 24/7 with advanced notice to help guests with luggage and surfboards. If you arrive and decide last minute that you need a porter, just contact reception via WhatsApp at +62 821-4430-0269. Please be patient as it might take a few minutes for them to reach your location.Alternatively, you can ask at the mini-mart and often they can arrange a porter to carry your things for you.

The cost to transport luggage down the steps is approximately $5 per carrying and helps the local community. Carrying bags and surfboards for visitors is a longtime tradition for locals in the Bukit. We suggest you conserve your energy and let the locals do their job and earn their keep. You’d be surprised how effortlessly they balance bags on their heads and seemingly float up and down the stairs.
For some people, walking up and down the steps can be a challenge, while for others it’s pretty easy. If you’re not in stair stepping condition, just take your time and enjoy the journey. The views along the way are both interesting and breathtaking so take your time. When you reach Legends Reception you will be greeted with a welcome drink to reward you!
